CICG were tasked with constructing an entire new science centre for Ballarat and Clarendon College. The centre houses eight classrooms and five laboratories, along with an 80-seat lecture theatre.
To showcase the innovative side of Ballarat and Clarendon College’s science program, CICG built the largest vertical laboratory in Australia for the students. The V-Lab is nine metres high, with three separate levels that students can operate on. Furthermore, a traditional device purposed to demonstrate the Earth’s rotation – a Foucault pendulum - was built within the science centre as a secondary feature.
