Ballarat and Clarendon College

CICG were tasked with constructing an entire new science centre for Ballarat and Clarendon College. The centre houses eight classrooms and five laboratories, along with an 80-seat lecture theatre. To showcase the innovative side of Ballarat and Clarendon College’s science program, CICG built the largest vertical laboratory in Australia for the students. The V-Lab is nine metres high, with three separate levels that students can operate on. Furthermore, a traditional device purposed to demonstrate the Earth’s rotation – a Foucault pendulum - was built within the science centre as a secondary feature.
